Top 10 Holiday Health Hacks

Stay healthy this holiday season with my Top 10 Health Hacks!

We are rounding the corner and heading toward the finish line. 2024 is nearly here but we have a little celebrating left to do, right? I hope all your packages have been found and are tightly wrapped under your tree. I have just a few stocking stuffers to hunt for and then I can sit back and enjoy the holidays.

I don't know about you, but I have had so many invites to social events and get togethers this season. It's been so good to gather again!

Before we head into the biggest holiday of our year, I wanted to send out a few of my top 10 tips to staying on track. Do you find it hard to stay on track during the holiday season? Maybe you feel like you have already lost control? Maybe you are ready to throw in the towel because staying healthy in this season is too hard. It can be tempting to hit the pause button on our health when we hit the holidays or vacations but try to look at it like this, you wouldn't wait till January to brush your teeth or take a shower, right? Well, we don't want our healthy habits to wait either!

I hope these tips offer you some peace, reassurance and a plan to stay in control AND enjoy the indulgences.

Yes, it can be done! The key to maintaining your health in this season instead of gaining the normal 5-10 pounds is to be mindful and intentional. You don't have to be perfect! This isn't all or nothing but it does have to be a both/and. While you choose to indulge, you also have to choose to be intentional with some simple and consistent habits. Make these your non-negotiables for the season and see how you feel January 2nd!

Keep It Simple

simple so you don't feel stressed. This is a time to seek consistency rather than perfection. So right from the start, lower you standards, give yourself grace and a little planning and intention will go a long way! Once you have decided your commitments, you can simply them and accomplish them like a well oiled machine.

Keep It Consistent

Move Your Body

Water Works Wonders

Focus on Protein+Fat+Fiber

Take Time Daily To Destress

Prioritize Sleep

Be Prepared

Choose Your Indulgences & Follow Through

Focus on the Conversation

If you commit to these foundational healthy habits, I KNOW you are going to feel better this season. If you "fall off the wagon", just jump back on right away. It's ok if things get a little crazy one night. Our biggest sabotage is when we allow the one night to turn into an entire season. Don't throw in the towel..... just keep one step in front of the other.

This is also a great time to begin thinking about the next steps you want to take to build your health in 2024. Have you checked out my Foundations to LiveWell Program? This 30 day, online program will give you the foundational steps you need to take control of your health, rebalance your hormones and feel better! Check it out and let me know if you have any questions!

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and safe NewYear. I look forward to working with you in 2024.
